Mayor Staffieri recently appointed a Charter Revision Commission to review the charter for updating. As part of that review here’s some of the areas the Mayor indicated he would like reviewed: Length of term of the Mayor, Length of term of the Board of Education, minority representation guaranteed on the Board of Alderman and Board of Education, a recall provision for elected officials, and mayoral salary. What other area(s) do you think should be looked at? What do you think of the areas the Mayor recommended?
